Sunday saw 16 colts travel to Holt, two equally matched teams went head to head, Holt scored the first try but failed to convert.
Just before half time Ely had a penalty and Josh T's magic boot secured Ely's 3 points, half time saw the score at Holt 5 Ely 3.

The second half produced end to end rugby and gave the spectators a great game to watch, Robert A chased a Holt player over our try line and managed to prevent the try by holding the player up, Kody J managed to break the line and score a try with 10 minutes to go, once again Josh T's boot secured the 7 points.

Ely was now leading 10-5. The team held their nerve in the final minutes of the match to secure the much-deserved win.

All the players gave 100% and the coaches struggled to nominate a single player for MoM, so we ended up with 3.
