"It is with a heavy heart that I inform you we have lost another of our own. Club legend Steve “ Chum” Summers passed away suddenly at home last night at age 61. Gone too soon and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. Condolences to the family at this time. I will post funeral details when I have them".

All at Ely Tigers would also like to extend our sincerest condolences to Steve's friends and family at this time. Steve was a former 1st XV captain of the club and as Carl put so well, he was a hugely popular member of the club, both on and off the pitch and will be missed.
