Chairman’s shout out from Andy, “On Sunday 18th January 2026, Ely hosted our first ladies' inner warrior fixture. A total of 7 clubs within the county were represented in a fine spectacle of ladies' rugby.
I would like to thank all of the players and their coaches for making the day possible, greatful thanks goes to Jon Evans for refereeing the fixture. Special thanks goes to Mark Duckworth MD at Martin & Mortimer (Building Surveyor's and Consultants), who are our ladies' shirt partner for coming along to support the ladies and joining the team for a pre-match photograph.

Director of Rugby Alex Skingley added; “it really was wonderful to see womens rugby being played at the club again. Thank you to everyone involved in the day, in particular the Ely Ladies who pulled on the yellow and black shirt, every single one of you are a credit to our club. Tigers ended the day with 2 wins from two, teaming up with March Bears for the fixtures.
