Ely Tigers Rugby Club is proud to announce Magpas Air Ambulance as the official Charity Partner for the club’s Senior Team for the 2025/26 season.
This important partnership reflects a shared commitment to community, wellbeing, and saving lives — both on and off the pitch. Through a season-long collaboration, Ely Tigers will raise vital awareness and funds to support the emergency medical charity’s lifesaving work across the East of England.
As part of this partnership:
The Magpas Air Ambulance logo will feature on the rear of the Senior Team’s official match shirts.
The club will organise bucket collections at key home fixtures and a major fundraising event.
Magpas Air Ambulance representatives will attend several club events throughout the year to engage with players, supporters, and the wider Ely community.
The club is also exploring opportunities to host CPR training sessions for players and coaching staff, supporting Magpas Air Ambulance’s mission to empower more people with lifesaving skills.
“Magpas Air Ambulance is a truly inspirational charity, and we’re proud to have them as our Charity Partner for the Club,” said Joe Hemsley-Rudd, Partnerships Manager at Ely Tigers RFC. “Their work directly impacts lives in our region, and we’re looking forward to doing our part to support and promote their mission.”
“We’re delighted to be chosen as Charity Partner by Ely Tigers,” said Ruth Beck, Corporate, Community and Events Manager at Magpas Air Ambulance. “This partnership is a great opportunity to raise awareness of our work while building strong community connections through the power of sport."
This partnership brings together two organisations driven by teamwork, community spirit, and a desire to make a difference. With the support of Ely Tigers and their passionate players, members and supporters, Magpas Air Ambulance can continue to respond when every second counts.
