Born from a partnership between Ely Tigers and March Bears, the Barbarians were created to solve a real challenge — making sure players not selected for both clubs first teams still had the chance to get regular game time, keep developing, and keep playing competitive rugby.

What started as a link-up has become something incredibly special. To go from a brand new side… to league champions in year one… is an unbelievable achievement.

A huge credit to every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who has played their part in making this team such a success.
